Been using mid-grade sunglasses past couple years like Bolle and Sun Cloud. Those sunglasses like most use Poly (plastic) lenses and they simply do not compare. Poly lenses are not very scratch resistant compared to crystal (glass) lenses no matter how much they claim to the contrary. My poly sunglasses were getting swirling scratches just from regular cleaning after several months and became worthless thus I was lucky to get a years worth of use. Maui's quality crystal lenses don't suffer from these shortcoming. I paid much more for these but these lenses will far outlast the poly ones. (Posted on 9/13/2023)
